Nice amber colored double IPA from the Irish brewery O'Hara's. In both aroma and taste, it is the interplay between the hops and the malt that gives this beer its complexity. The hops give fruity aromas of, among other things, tropical fruits, fir shoots and tangerine. The hops further contributes a good portion of bitterness. The malt gives notes of caramel, bread and fresh grain. The malt also contributes a good and appropriate amount of sweetness to balance the hop bitterness. A long and powerful aftertaste with a focused hop profile.
