A collector wine from Mouton Cadet. This wine bears the original 1930 label of the first ever Mouton Cadet vintage ! Merlot (90%) brings roundness and fruit, Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) power and structure. Aged in oak 8 to 10 months. The nose opens on black fruit, especially bilberry and blackcurrant, then goes on to reveal oaky notes of coffee and spice. The attack is smooth, on well-integrated tannins, with fruit flavours reminiscent of the black fruit on the nose plus an additional touch of red fruit such as cherry.
