This spirit has been recreated accordingly to the original formula of the "Royal Danish Navy" exactly as Albert Heinrich Riise created and designed it. This superb spirit is a combination of several different, up to 20 years old rum distillates. This molasses-based spirit is produced by slow fermentation. This method results in a fantastic article with an extremely dark, almost black color. Riise's Royal Danish Navy is hand blended in small batches and is not cold filtered nor is caramel added.
